Nearby attractions include: Dinosaur Museum (5 km / 3 miles) - this nationally renowned museum is dedicated to dinosaurs and the fascinating world in which they lived. Exciting and innovative displays complement exhibits of actual fossils, skeletons, and life-size reconstructions. Athelhampton House and Gardens (5.5 km / 3.5 miles) - one of the finest 15th century houses in England, containing many magnificently furnished rooms and Grade 1 19th century gardens. The Jurassic Coast (16 km / 10 miles) - the 153 km (95 miles) strip has become the first natural site in the country to be awarded World Heritage site status by UNESCO. Monkey World (12km /8 miles) - the internationally renowned ape rescue centre set in a 65 acre wildlife park, as seen on television series Monkey Business and Monkey Life. It is Dorset's most popular tourist attraction.
